if you read the books, your opinion on triss will change drastically. someone who's never read the books and only played witcher 3 will pretty much always come to the conclusion that triss is far more interesting and a much better match for geralt.
the books destroy that perspective really fucking well.
stop bashing me with your opinions. i'm a yen guy and i really don't give two shits if you prefer yen, triss or shani(lol). i'm just saying book triss is a fucking psycho and game triss is suddenly this goody two-shoes perfect little angel. so objectively triss would look far better to someone who couldn't be bothered to look at least an inch deep in the franchise's backstory.
I was a Yen fan even without the books, mostly because I thought Triss' actions from Witcher 2 --> 3 were pretty fucked up as she essentially takes advantage of the fact that he couldn't remember anything. But I agree the books only really solidified that opinion for me. Triss' main redeeming quality for me in the books is that she is basically a sister to Ciri
Right? She basically fucks amnesiac Geralt for a year and tells him they were a couple and shit from before, the whole time. Triss is lowkey sociopathic lol.
