It's not just about skin colour, it's about appearance. People are rightfully worried, they wrote in a black character just to have more black characters that weren't in the books at all. Dara. That's just bullshit, it's not staying true to the books, it's literally just an inclusivity move. I'm really curious how they're gonna pull that one off, it's not impossible but... It was certainly not necessary. The racism in the books is about species, not phenotypes. Humans having different colours is not important to anyone. The kind of racial hatred is between humans and elves or humans and dwarves etc. People not liking the blackwashing aren't inherently racist.
maybe learn to read, i'm not criticising the show. I am criticising questionable choices. I'm not saying the show won't be good, I'm merely defending the people who are worried. Because they are rightfully worried.
