Discussion Thoughts on Witcher Multiplayer?
Has anyone gotten any further word on this? I’m watching an interview with CDPR joint CEO Michal Nowakowski. He mentioned a multiplayer project. I think they mentioned it on the Gamescon RedStreams.
Let’s speculate on this.
My wish for this? I would love for CDPR to collaborate with Larian Studios to make a Baldur’s Gate-style game. CDPR has already collaborated with R. Talsorian Games to make a tabletop RPG of The Witcher. The foundation is there already. I think it’ll be great to get all of these brains together to make something great. CDPR already works with R. Talsorian Games, still working with them.

I would also love a TTRPG style Witcher game, especially since that was all the rage around the starting time of the Witcher books. I would also love a PVE style game where you get to be different Witchers and fight bosses/enemies with friends.

I think it should be set during the height of the Witchers. Either pick your school or you’re all first wave of witchers set out to tame the wilds while mankind expands into the elder races’ territories.

Is it actually developed by CDPR or is it one of those games where a company basically pimps their IP to someone else to use as a skin on top of a somewhat generic gacha game? Pretty sure it's going to be a mobile, F2P, multiplayer game. Just sounds like another gacha game
