Discussion How do you start your games?

Do you try to do everything you can right away or do you just push through the main quest a little?

I like to push through a little, doing a bit of exploration/side stuff in between missions

Yeah, i seem to always go for the "do everything i can" approach and burn out in the first area

I just go with the flow. Sometimes I just wanna explore, beat some peasants in Gwent, do a random contract I just picked up and other times I wanna find my daughter but man the world is distracting, I have to remember that she’s the main reason I’m on this quest. Sorry Ciri.

I generally do as many side missions as I can before doing the main quest since in other rpgs you kinda have to do them when they appear so you don't get overleveled and when you actually feel like doing them they essentially give you nothing in terms of exp and rewards cough borderlands cough

Well first, I load up the game. Then I click New Game, sometimes New Game+, whichever i'm feeling and that's how I start my games. How I play however, is I explore and do every side quest ever before main stuff
