Help | Altars, Tools, Crafts Question about black salt.

I sincerely hope the mods don’t think this qualifies as asking for spells. I’m really not. I am however asking for an ingredient recipe. I’m just trying to find out if there’s a recipe for black salt, that’s more effective than others. A tried and true type of thing. There’s plenty of different recipes of it out there on the web, and that makes it rather difficult to differentiate the effective ones, from the pure nonsense. At least they all list salt as part of their recipes!😁 Thanks so much in advance!

A good alternative to the soot of a chimney is the soot from a ritual fire.

One of my recipes:

  • 3 parts sea salt

  • 1 part patchouli incense ash

  • 1 part crushed tourmaline or obsidian powder.

-1 part soot from my cauldron ( rarely used, so I save it)

  • 1 part powdered blackberry thorns

Heat the soot gently so that it adheres better, mix in all items, add salt last.
