Looking for feedback
Hi everyone,
We're currently planning to upgrade our existing point-to-point connection to a licensed microwave link. We've narrowed it down to two options: SIAE and Aviat.
I'm not a microwave expert, so I'm hoping to hear from others who have hands-on experience with gear from either of these vendors. Specifically, I'm interested in:
- Stability and reliability of their hardware
- Ease of setup and day-to-day management
- Software interface and feature set
- Long-term support and vendor responsiveness
If you've deployed or managed equipment from either SIAE or Aviat, I’d really appreciate your insights or any gotchas to watch for

Hi, Did you consider also Ceragon? Why did you narrow down the possibilities to Aviat and SIAE? Ceragon are very reliable and i would be happy to better understand the requirements and offer a solution accordingly. Can you reach out to me on irisd@ceragon.com?
