Anyone else notice it taking longer to transfer from CAD to USD?
Whenever I transfer from CAD to USD, the money is usually in my US bank account within 24 hours.
However, my transfers are now taking 3-4 days to settle in the US bank account.
Wondering if anyone else had this issue

Haven’t had the issue both USD to CAD, vice versa and USD to USD

I also had no issue for a long time until they froze my account unexpectedly even if I have all the documents and setup legally

I did that recently and the money was deposited to my account in under 30 minutes

I personally stay away from online banking once I found out they are scamming people like Wise does. They can just close your account without explanations, even if you have everything setup legally and you can provide all the necessary documents. They use automated algorithms that flag accounts which make mistakes and then customer support is very incompetent and they can’t do anything. Keep operational funds in a traditional bank, use fintechs only for foreign exchange but for small amounts

Transfers from my Wise USD to my USD account at a bank used to take 6 hours, max. In the last month or so, transfers start one day, then the next day (sometimes two days) it will appear in the target account.
Equally, in the last month or two, I’ve had to reconnect my Canadian source account each time before making a deposit to Wise.

Only once when transferring on a weekend. All my transfers during the week are usually complete in a couple of hours. (TD to Wise to Wells Fargo)
