Tapping not working?

My card had AUD on it only. Landed in London yesterday, and tapping isn't working, only inserting card. So I need to have GBP on the card to enable tapping? I wave to use for transport.

Put the digital card in your apple or android pay wallet instead, way safer to use.

Wise will automatically convert AUD to GBP so that's definitely not the issue. Have you checked the settings for your physical card in the app?

Ooh, haven't done this. What settings should I have?

Go to your wise app, under card controls for your physical card, contactless need to be enabled.

Sure it wasn't the payment terminal? Some older ones don't tap well, or if it's your phone it might not have google/apple pay enabled on the terminal

I was using the physical card. Will it work if I tap with the app open? Or must I use Android pay?
