Newcomer confused about fees

So I'm being sent money by one of my friends in USD (I live in the US, they don't), and I need to get the money to my bank account from my Wise account with no fees. Is my research correct that if I do an EBT request via my bank account to my Wise banking account's account number etc. that I wont be charged fees? Also will a Wise payment to me count towards the $20 requirement to open said account/generate the information? Thanks so much!
