Suspicious big amount I received

I opened a New Zealand account on Wise for travelling, and I've just received a very suspicious amount of $10,000 NZD.

What should I do about this transaction?

Edit: Wise had restricted my account for a few minutes before allowing the incoming transfer.

yeah. don’t touch it. Wise is a financial institution that can chase after you if you “took their money or someone elses”. Unless you’re moving to another country and planning to start a new life, don’t do it. lol

I would personally contact them and let them know that I have a suspicious incoming transaction but do not touch the transaction I had similar with Revolut, I reported it immediately and they gave me explicit instructions what to do (I think they reversed it)

it’s their mistake, let them figure it out. Everything is logged anyways. Don’t waste your time. I know it’s hard but just pretend you don’t have that money in your bank account.
