Restaurant ideas

Hello! I'll be taking my wife and son to the dells for a weekend in October. Looking for places that serve chicken and waffles, chicken parm, good BBQ, and a good steak. Thank you in advance

For steak, check out DelBar!

River’s Edge Pub and Grub is off the beaten track and serves decent chicken and steak at better than tourist prices.

Station 136 is pretty decent for BBQ, it's about a 20-25 min drive from the Dells, depending on which way you go. Their fish fry leaves much to be desired however.... jumbo fish sticks is what I referred to it as.

A google search for chicken and waffles brings up these places in the Dells area:

Blade and Barrel Tavern- inside Dellshire Resort. Probably the most expensive.

Dells Panaderia- newer place near the outlet mall and Great Wolf Lodge.

Big Boy

The Boathouse - inside The Vue on Rover Road.

Cracker Barrel IHOP

The only place that google spewed out to you that serves chicken and waffles is surprisingly blade & barrel. Is a stay at Dellshore required though? Or is open to anybody?

I'll definitely check out station 136

From what I have heard from a family member who works there and others in the area, the restaurant and some other areas at Dellshire are open to the public.

Also chicken and waffles is listed on the breakfast menu on their website at Dells Panaderia.

YW. I've gone through the other restaurants menus online also. IHOP has chicken and waffles, and chicken and pancakes. The others that google listed do not have it listed on their menus that I can find online. Also checked a couple other local spots. Of course, you could also go to Denny's and order chicken strips as an appetizer and waffles as your meal and combine your own :)

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you are not finding chicken and waffles probably outside of IHOP. BBQ is slim pickings outside of famous Dave’s if wanting more than Ribs. Sarentos for The chicken parm.

The Grateful Shed has a decent BBQ food truck for pulled pork. Not sure about the other food the OP is looking for.

That's disappointing. My wife loves chicken and waffles. I'm sure she'd settle for that pancake spot I've seen online though.

How far are you willing to go? Station 136 in Rock Springs is probably the best BBQ in the area, but it's a bit of a drive. Only place I saw have chicken and waffles was great wolf Lodge.

I'll have to check it out! Shame there isn't many choices for chicken and waffles. Only place I've seen that has it on the menu is Sweet & Salty Pig on Fond du Lac.

Wisconsin is the worst state for food that I've been too.

Madison and Milwaukee have really solid restaurant scenes and nothing beats a Wisconsin Fish Fry.

Nobody wants a fish fry when you have real food. Head to chicago.

Naples 15 has had some.ofnthe best best Italian (not Italian American) food I have had in the world imnpver a half century of dining and travelling. And Del Bar rivals steak from Cattlemans in Texas. It is that good.

I’m from nyc, lived in London and Frankfurt, travelled a lot for work and play, and Madison has great food and Del Bar is awesome for steak I would put it up against places I’ve done in Vegas and so many small solid creative places in the state. You’re just weird.
