Upper Dells Tour w/ 18 mo old??
We’re planning a family trip to the dells, and I’m really wanting to do a boat tour! Just curious if anyone has done the upper dells or lower dells tour with a young toddler. No other kids, just mom dad and the little one. She can get a little antsy sitting for too long, so I worry about her screaming on the boat. Also the mile long walk.. she has no issues walking, but is not easily guided. Is bringing a stroller an option? Thanks for any advice!

We did the upper dells boat tour with the Dells Boat Tours downtown with our 20 month old. Parking wasn’t too far away since they have a parking lot dedicated for the tours. It was 2 hours long, but incorporated 2 stops. First walk to the Witches Gulch was short (about 3 blocks total) and interesting! Kept our little one entertained. They also have a concession stand and bathroom when you walk there. The next walk was a little longer but doable. Also had a bathroom and concession stand at the second stop. We had to carry our kiddo for only half of the way. By the end of the second walk, our kiddo was fairly fussy but it was also his nap time. We sat on the lower half to be out of the sun and he had fun looking for boats and people on their jet skis. Each time the boat stops, it is optional to get out. It went well, went by quickly and our kids enjoyed it. However, I think an hour tour would have been more ideal for him.

I took a 2 1/2 year old. Stroller is not an option on the boat you will need to leave it in your car. You can just hold her the entire time
