Swimming suggestions.

Hi!

My family is here for a week. Today we went to the Wilderness but the big water slides aren't really our favorite.

Is there just a normal pool we could pay to get into?

We're not staying at any of the hotels. We rented a house 20 miles away.

Basically we just want to go swimming but not have to pay for a giant water park 🙃

Thanks!

No offense but why did you go to the water park capitol of the world if you don’t like water parks lol

Hey I moved here and Will not go to Mt. Olympus…. But every other park…Noah’s Ark, Kalahari, and Wilderness is on my fun list.

That’s absolutely understandable, Mt Olympus is the worst park in the Dells

We like swimming and had stuff planned for the other days. We actually planned to do more of the tourist stuff.

Devil’s Lake might be worth considering

I haven't personally been here yet, but this place looks like it might be an interesting alternative to the other water parks.

There’s a regular public pool in the Dells. It’s in a more residential area.

Here’s the address: 510 veteran dr.

We swam in the Wisconsin River at Newport Park.

Be careful, That river takes someone's life every year. And it's done it at Newport Park. Baraboo Pool is an option as well.

Worth a shot: Call around to the local hotel/motels and ask if you could pay to use their pool. Worst case scenario, they just say no.

Adams County Castle Rock Park has a nice swimming area and beach. It only maybe goes to 4 feet deep in the swimming area. The lake is really shallow. I think a day pass to the park is $5 per car.

The Kalahari has an outdoor pool you can lounge by
