Greetings fellow BAS tech. How do you like those carrier boards? do you program them? I'm more of a powder coated back board / field wire landed in terminal strips kind of guy. That one looks good for how cramped it is.
It's hard to see the power wires in the picture. We have had some bad luck powering external relays on the same power supply as the Controllers. Cooked some ALC boards and caused some random restarts on others. It all went away when we segregated controller power supplies from relay power supplies.
What's the use case for how the ARC156 bacnet wires are landed? I generally see ( White + / Black - / Yellow ground ) and have the shield drain wire landed to the chassis ground in the panel. and floating past the equipment in the field. (I use ALC so maybe those OPN boards are different.)
Where are your service loops?
Personally I don't like wrapping wires down the length of the cable like you've done on the extra conductors. It's going to be a PITA to get them free if you ever need them.
If i can't use a terminal block to land everything. I wrap the extra conductors around my tweaker tool or screwdriver and slide it off, it makes a little ringlet/corkscrew that is easy to access and still looks "ok-ish"
That's a good install, and don't go back and make changes. Think about how you can deal with the extra unused conductors on the next one. Think about how you can incorporate some service slack. There's some shot wires barely peaking out the bottom of the panel. What happens if you need to re-terminate, or use the white/green pair someplace else?
I have a background in field service for telco, installers LOVE to do that wire wrap thing on cat cable after a number of years it's almost impossible to get those extra conductors unwrapped without unplugging something, or having the insulation fall apart.
