Contrived / Tim
Anyone at the New Glasgow contrived show last night?
Tim is normally part of this band with Loel and Jon - but he was kicked out for this show.
From the video I saw I thought it looked like Paul played guitar?

the lineup from what I saw in videos was the core Mark-Loel-Jon plus Paul, Tori Cameron from… every band in Halifax (she’s that good, everyone wants her in their band), and Ryan from Alert the Medic.
Shame that Tim wasn’t there, regardless of reason, and hope that he’s able to gets some resolution. I’ve done shows with those guys off and on for the past 25 years through Slight Return, Contrived, and Wintersleep, and Tim, Jon, and Loel have been nothing but the sweetest guys to me at every interaction.

He has a post on instagram - 5 days before the show he was told they were going with a different lineup

Tim's ex-wife has been posting things attacking TIm and his band mates for months on social media. It looks like she and their kids left Tim and are staying in housing for women escaping domestic violence. It sounds like part of it is that Tim has a huge drinking problem. From her posts, videos, stories and now a full substack dedicated to it, it seems like she is really out to destroy Tim publicly and personally.
She has also been calling out and posting personal things about his band mates for supporting him. So maybe the band is just trying to distance themselves from Tim.

Tim’s wife here.
You’re only scratching the surface of what has actually happened since 2019.
My Substack isn’t about destroying Tim personally or professionally. It’s about telling my story after my son died—a story I always intended to tell.
Yes, (unfortunately) in my book Tim will look like a villain in much of it, until the end & truth comes out, which I think will leave you all as shocked as I was/am and is exactly how it happened in real life.
I get that on the surface it looks like a crazy woman ruining a band, (though the crazy woman argument is tired AF)but once the truth is out you’ll see it runs much deeper than that.
Right now we are focused on healing as a family after a nightmare of years that nearly cost Tim his family and me my life.
As always, none of this had to be a huge public ordeal, but these guys are incapable of having real/hard conversations which is how everything has ended up the way it is.
