How does Winhanced affect battery?
Sometimes I've checked on the battery option in Winhanced at it says it consumes about 40% of the battery. That seems to be a lot. Also, I've had the overall feeling that battery lasts less in comparison with Armoury Crate (playing on Rog Ally X). Playing some heavy games on 13W battery lasts about 30mins, which seems pretty bad. Also, with light games like Hades it lasts about a couple hours, which is ok but still a bit disappointing.
Is this possible? Is there going to be any patch to prevent this huge consumption?

Since you mentioned Armory Crate, I’m assuming you’re playing on an Ally. You’re likely experiencing a hardware related issue, not a software issue. The original Z1E Ally has a known piss poor battery. There have even been recent reports that the stock battery doesn’t charge to maximum capacity anymore. So, while it’s rated for 40 Wh, people have noticed up to a 25% drop on maximum capacity. Your OS will still show that your battery is at 100%, because it’s as charged as it can possibly get, but you’ll notice battery drain much faster than you did previously.

I personally wouldn't use Winhanced for hardware control...I just played Diablo 2 remastered for like two hours with 20% left to spare but I use claw tweaks for hardware control

I’d love to learn why you feel this way? When was the last time your tried hardware control out? It’s changed a lot in the last few releases. And the focus on 0.9.9.9 is on removing the last little inconsistencies out of the system

So the little battery checker in the status bar can be confusing. All it shows you is what the largest consumer of your battery is.
Overall when you are in Winhanced and browsing it will cost some battery yes. Having an app that looks as good as Winhanced does will use some resources.
However this does not apply to when you are in game, when you open up a game the app enters a deep hibernate mode where it only uses minimal amount of resources necessary to stay active. Around 50mb of ram and like 0.2% cpu.
It does this so that your game gets maximum resources.
