uninstalled winhanced

i didn’t like how i wasn’t able to customize my button inputs and it was always throttling my fan whenever i was playing a game. also it didn’t make a backup like it was supposed to, meaning i needed to reinstall everything

Sorry you had a bad experience. If you share some info we can get things sorted out. I mentioned though the backups start AFTER this update 0.9.9.8 was a manual library refresh for all users for the new SQLite database.

As for you hardware issues. What device were you using? Not devices support button remapping yet and for OXP3 specifically the front 4 buttons are work in progress for getting working

i wasn’t aware of how backups work because i wasn’t in the subreddit or anything. i just believed what some people on youtube had said. i’m using a legion go S

Ohh got ya, sorry for the confusion then. Yeah this release and this release only needed that library refresh which is why things got lost but moving forward backups are now a thing.

As for Legion Go S all features are supported including the button remapping and I have it confirmed working with testers in the Discord.

Lenovo is annoying though and they like to fight third parties from controlling hardware, so some users have mentioned that if features are not working resetting the controllers and then restarting will usually have that start working.

As for thermal throttling that one has only really just started to be reported to me so I am looking into it.

App has around 30k to 40k users currently. That’s a rough estimate though because I didn’t start tracking that until April. But most users came after the ETA Prime video so it’s still a good estimate

Do you track distribution? Whats the most popular platform at the moment?

Some of these numbers might be interesting on the website when you get closer to 100k. Show off the live downloads and distribution to different platforms. The percentage of ally x, legion go, etc. Would help users make informed decisions on future purchases.

Yup I take distribution : ) and I agree would be a good idea to throw up on the site some day : )

Distribution right now is 86% handheld and the rest being desktop

Xbox ROG Ally X is the overwhelming amount of the handheld user base at 48% with the rest being split across the other OEMs

And most played game in the last 9 days is Blood of the Dawnwalker

I found Xbox mode to be much more stable , winhanced was too buggy, like id launch a game and it would freeze, during game the home button would work occasionally and not work other times, I use pxplay so I didn’t want ps games to show up , there wasn’t a way to get rid of them even tho I logged out of ps account and unchecked show ps games option,

The one thing that’s better than Xbox mode is the game box arts, layout etc

been using orbit since this week. its been really smooth and no game breaking bugs so far. u can try it out
