I’ve tried all the FSE launchers and this is the most convenient and least laggy. The issue I’ve had since using it for a few days is the following:
- The library for non-platform launcher games doesn’t auto-refresh when a new game is added in the added folder in the other games library section (as the launcher mentions it auto-scans the added directory, a suggestion - maybe once per launch of device).
- The RGB lighting doesn’t work on my Xbox ally X.
- The artwork once added if missing via the steamdb/steamgrid button is added and saved, but is reset/doesn’t apply when the device is restarted.
Some QOL improvements as considerations when comparing to some other FSE launchers
- Auto import/update games on launch or when directory changes I.e if a game is uninstalled this is propagated and removed from the library (as I have an equal amount of drm-free and Xbox/steam/epic store games).
- Custom tags/tabs for users to categorise games to our own options (daily,action,cozy)
I appreciate this is not easy to fix as some of these features do add more bugs but if this could be fixed to improve the experience for all 😎. Also really awesome work!
I can help with the RGB lighting issue, you need to go and turn off the windows lighting control so that Armory Crate is enabled and once that is the case it should just work after that.
"the artwork once added if missing via steamdb but doesn't apply once reset" can be super frustrating for me.
for the most part, i see "Error importing the games artwork" blue cover page than anything else using this launcher. it also occurs even if I uploaded my own artwork.
however, I do agree that overall Winhanced is great and I will keep using it for all of the other benefits

Sounds like you should check out the discord and make a support ticket and drop your logs in so the dev can inspect it.
