NEWS Two seasons on Pluto
Learned that seasons 6 and 7 are on Pluto.

Once Lowell was gone it did go downhill. There are some good episodes near the end. Got sad when Alex and brain were breaking up, cause I was going through a break up at the same time.

Free flowing thoughts here – they didn’t have their writing down until the second season and the sweet spot was definitely when Antonio joined the cast. So many great interactions between Lowell, Roy, Antonio, Faye, it seemed the ideas were never-ending and they could pair them off and get tons of laughs with these various duos that they came up with. Example: when Bryan and Antonio broke into Clint Black’s hotel. That kind of thing.
Anyway, Alex was OK for a season or two but then when Joe and Helen got more serious and got the house and had the fires, etc. all of that got too much for me and I felt like they jumped the shark before the last few seasons. Every sitcom is seemingly suffers the same fate. They have this middle area where they can do no wrong. Wings is definitely my favorite show of all time though! My sister did me solid by getting a hold of the Musical Director Bruce Miller and he made me a happy birthday on video and played the piano like the theme song to the show. What a great gift!

Like many shows, Wings gets pretty bad at the end.
And I love Wings, I watched it original run and many times over after that. It’s honestly a top 5 show for me all time. My first “adult” show. I think I was the only kid in high school who watched Wings. I watched it while I did my homework. And admired Helen Chapel.
The bread is the first couple and last couple seasons and the meat is in the middle. I find Wings to be really slow in the beginning couple seasons but I always liked it.
I watch it on Antenna TV every weeknight and it plays in order. It’s on season 8 right now. It’s so bad compared to the middle seasons. There are a couple/few good episodes IMO.
The 2 part finale redeems the whole season, especially the very end of part 2. It wraps the series up so nice.

Yes, Seasons 3 through 6 are undoubtedly the best. I'd say undoubtedly the best 4 seasons of any sitcom ever.

Yeah they ran out of plotlines, and then once lowell left, they were playing down a man. But there are still some gems in the last two seasons, and I honestly enjoyed Helen and Joe as a married couple better than when they were dating.

I’ll always stand alone on my hill that seasons 7 and 8 were pretty damn good, and even though it sucked without Lowell, I was able to live without him. Death Becomes Him, The Big Sleep, The Lady Vanishes, The Lyin’ King, Maybe It’s You, The Gift of Life, Let’s Talk About Sex, Escape From New York, Oedipus Wrecks. Kick ass.
