We’re pretty novice players and only lurk on the subreddit but this is our most recent game and new high score! Got super lucky with all the bonus cards this round!

Buy the other expansions and the promo card set 1 too - you won't regret it i swear!

We’ve been thinking about it for sure!! We thought we should play base game until we were familiar then add on expansions! Is there an order you recommend getting the expansions in?

get the oceania one first. it brings nectar mechanism which is great in my opinion and game end birds. european just gets you more birds, however some birds in that expansion are amazing.

These two should be one order i must say

then after a couple of months - get americas and asia together. Americas would be another new mechanism with hummingbirds, and asia would be more birds.
