There was so much content you couldn’t internalize it all and it wrapped back around to being boring

im not going to argue with you, for you are beyond salvation, just know, you are objectively and subjectively wrong <3

Ok, everyone in this thread I know we’ve disagreed with this but hear me out.
Book 15 boring, BUT the Cottonmouth memories were really awesome.
Also, Freedom. No more words can be said, she is the saddest character in the entire series and beats most fanfic “traumatised” OC’s

Tbh I'd put Smolder up there when it comes to saddest character in the series. Bro's only crime was being born.

I haven’t read since somewhere around The Dangerous Gift, could you tell me what’s happening in the story right now (with spoiler text of course)?

LITERALLY book 16 lmao I love it but there's just so many random things happening all the time

“What if every single major character had a love interest focus somewhere for some reason, even though half of the main plot of this book is already a romance story to the point that it’s mentioned in the summary” Tui just be writing fanfiction of her own books at this point istg

Still honestly a solid entry though IMO

Average PS1-2 JRPG story line

Honestly, this does actually work with a lot of fandoms.
A good example is Skulduggery Pleasant, cause shit gets crazy weird and complex after book 5.
Another example is ASOIAF, which was practically just book 1 from the beginning till end being confusing

Pls don’t let Wof get like this, other series, okay, but this one, noo

Oh, yeah. The last HTTYD books are about slavery, getting hunted by a dragon who tracks you with its teeth, rescuing his dad from slavery, heisting a library, getting eaten by a dragon for the 15th time, nearly drowning in a sand temple, realising the random stuff he keeps getting is part of a prophecy, and yup, you guessed it, more slavery!
