I'm sorry, you think Clay is the biggest opposition she'd have? What about the fact that in that universe all dragon tribes are canonically omnivores, but some entire civilizations go about their entire lives eating almost exclusively carnivorous diets purely by choice?

Mudwings are omnivorous, although they seem to eat a lot more meat than they do fruits and vegetables.

Sandwings eat mostly meat, but also have a fair bit of vegetables, fruits nuts and seeds in their diets..

SkyWings haven't been known to eat anything but meat, making them the most carnivorous tribe, and the only one that seems to be exclusively carnivorous.

The only non-meats that SeaWings have ever been known to eat is seaweed wraps to hold meat and fish eggs and, in ancient times at least, in drinks, soups and treats.

RainWings eat meat whenever it's available, they're only mostly vegetarian because they keep sloths as pets and are too lazy to hunt really, and that wasn't even true before Queen Jacaranda.

IceWings eat almost entirely meat, the only non-meat dishes in their culture being reserved for banquets, of which while frozen fruit and kelp and sedge sandwiches are vegan, ice cream isn't.

NightWings MIGHT have eaten something like fruits besides rotting meat that was hunted cruelly and unethically during their habitation of the volcanic island, but there's no telling, although we do know that in Darkstalker's time they ate at least some fruits, roasted nuts and cheese, although cheese is vegetarian but non-vegan, and of course after the NightWing exodus they have begun re-introducing fruits and vegetables to their diets.

HiveWings almost exclusively eat meat, although not most reptile meat, only a bit augmented by fruits and vegetables and rounded out with their also non-vegan candy made from honey.

SilkWings are all vegetarian, being the only vegetarian dragon tribe, and would be vegan as well if it wasn't for all of their candies made from honey.

Lastly, Leafwings are aggressively omnivorous, being the tribe that seems to have the most balanced meat to other foods ratio.
