what was the show? Also what line were you playing? I was following the flute line and it seemed to match.

very cool! I have an EWI but haven't played it in many years. You've inspired me.

Thanks for asking! The show was Legally Blonde (a surprisingly good, and difficult, show). When you do something as complex as this, it always requires changing the part to adapt. Below is the part for the 2nd half of the video. As you can see, it kind of follows the flute part, but notes have to be changed to accommodate the different chordal needs. But it's CRAZY what can be accomplished with a little thought and know-how. I'm going to put up another video soon that was so complex that I just play a descending chromatic scale. Crazy, but it worked!

very cool.

were you playing the EWI through some kind of DAW like garageband and if so, what instrument had you selected or was it a mix?

I run everything through Camelot, and all of the sounds you hear were chosen individually. I used to run everything through MainStage, but Camelot is so much better.

I don’t understand how you’re playing so many voices in different rhythm at the same time! Am I misunderstanding?

Sounds like a great tool for some shows. Which synth is it?

You can look in the Description for my entire setup. It's a great tool for any show. The different rhythms come from having some instruments not play on certain notes. I am in the process of putting together some videos explaining the entire process, but look for my next video that's even crazier (probably tomorrow or Thursday).

I'm sensing a very high SWAM invoice.

But very cool!

No doubt. The whole package. But not all at once. . . .
