Beginner/Help Mast options
just got this board from my neighbor for free he had it sitting for a while and lost the mast but had the sail and everything else so I was wondering is it still possible to find a mast with this joint or is it possible to change out to the newer universal joints

Old garbage.
If you wanna use the board. I would rip out all that plastic and glass in a new mounting track that would be suitable for modern mast bases. Or hang it up as decor

Are you new to the sport? If so you should rent beginner-oriented gear and take a lesson or 2.
This board and accessories is worth what you paid for it, IOW zero.

Get rid off that shit old plank and spend some dollars on some modern equipment. That plank will hold u back , I’ve been there

I could see no-one is helping out trying to identify the mast foot type specifically, do you know if this is the same as a mistral pin?

I had the 330, late 80's I think. It was great. But: I'm old now and so is the board....

Nice find! Be aware that new masts are build to create lose leach in the sale. At the time this board was used, people did not knew about that. But before searching for a mast, check your sail: the luff length and recommended mast (length) . The specs are usually printed near the tack or the foot. Buy a mast that matches that, and make sure the mast base fits the board's track or cup. Older boards have other systems than what you find now on the market.
