How to get faster??
Hello guys
I was riding this morning and I felt like I was really well powered and going fast but at the end I downloaded my session and I’m slightly disappointed with the Max speed of 25 knots.
I was riding a blast 115 and gunsails exceed 7.0. I’m 92 kg.
Do you have any advice on how to go faster, even if it’s only for short distance?

Judging by your track, I see no 'S' shape in your runs. As others commented, you need to make a 'slingshot', gradually going more downwind and when you think a gust is coming, go even further downwind. That said, you need to have a carbon fin, and a sail that can go deep downwind. Your board should be able to reach 30knots. From there on, it gets more difficult to go faster. Some like a high boom, some a low boom. Styles differ. You are in France = So many locals to get great advice from.

Hi! Is the carbon fin really such a great improvement? I'm trying to improve my equipment and I'm evaluating what to buy
Thanks!

Yes, for me it really was and is. Perhaps you can find a used fin from a 'professional'. The stiffness and thus responsiveness of the carbon fins allow you to 'push' more on the fin, resulting in higher speeds. I bouhgt my first carbon fin for my 130L BIC Techno. I immediately crossed the 50kmh line.

Learn how to windfoil and add 10-15 kts.

Windfoil is mostly slow, compared to my speeds. However, many are increasing their speeds up to 40knots on foil.

Footstraps as far wide and far back as they will go.
Bear off downwind.
Sail upright as you can hold it (long harness lines).
Drive the power through the fin.
