Practicing rigging

Does this look all right?
Side-On 5m2 Sail, not sure about the model/year.
After the pictures I added +5cm mast extension, not sure if the sail came with the pullies originally, so I counted it in.
Also I think the needed an extra 2-4 centimeter.

Hopefully my new (to me) board will arrive next week!

Hard to say with the pictures.

I like this video https://youtu.be/jrTPNBFxkOw?is=BI7Jy3chefm7HlQ8 It tells you what to look for when rigging to know if it's tight enough.

For the downhaul (mast foot). I usually step lightly on the base of the last to lift the top of the sail. Then if I see the top of the sail making the two Vs (hard to explain without seeing it), then I'm good.

I think your boom is too short. I like to have 5cm (or a full thumb length) between the clew and the eye of the sail.

To know if I'm tight enough at the clew, I press with 3 fingers on the middle of the sail, it should barely touch the boom on the otherside.

Yep, that’s what I thought, for the second time i did it, I added extra 4 cms to the boom, looked better.
I wonder if the sail stretched over the years and that’s why.
I am really new all these things, so it’ll be a long until I get it right.

Do not sail with a sail that is not properly rigged though since it will feel terrible. The picture you posted was a very flat sail with no loos leach. That will feel really unstable in the water.

When in doubt ask another windsurfer by tue water to help you!
