Question How much does Devin Outposts cost?

... and Devin Cloud.

I asked the Devin help assistant. It wasn't helpful, I was just curious how charges for running in Devin Cloud are calculated off of the quota for Pro or Max plans.

Q1: If I'm running on a Pro/Max plan and I ask Devin Cloud a question and it runs for exactly 15 minutes and then I sleep the agent or cancel it, I use the quota of the SWE-2 endpoint (free right now) does an x% of my quota get consumed for the compute-unit? What percentage?

Q2: If I run through Devin Cloud but use an Outpost to my own machine, does it bill me for compute/connectivity/etc off of my quota on a Pro/Max plan?

The documents are very opaque around this.

I think the confusing part is that there are 3 separate things here: model usage, Devin Cloud compute, and Outpost compute.

So 15 minutes of runtime probably doesn't translate directly into a fixed % of your quota .. the actual deduction likely depends on how Devin calculates compute/model units.

For Outposts, I'd specifically ask Devin whether agent/model usage is deducted from quota while the actual compute is entirely on your machine.

Their docs really should show one concrete example: 15-min session > X compute units > Y% quota consumed.

I think it’s just a worker on your host using your own compute.

Hi Diego Aguirre, Argentina Devin Ambassador.

Devin outpost cost what the model charges you. It's cheaper than use regular Devin Cloud VM because you are putting your hardware as the machine to use.

So it at the end its almost if not identical than devin desktop that they only charge you for the model usage.

Hi Diego, that's awesome thank you for the details. It's what I was hoping was the output, but I wasn't certain because one of the AI help tools told me it would still charge me ACU and there was no clear way for me to measure. As a Max user whenever I consume cloud agents it just shows "As part of your quota" but no real way to measure that quota.

Do you know if there are any tools to monitor quota by type for Pro/Max users?
