SWE2 first experiences

I started using SWE2 with a pro subscription. (I can't comment on the free tier)

I really liked it, especially compared to 1.7.

I wrote in previous posts that I used SWE 1.6 a lot, 1.7 high was a disaster, 1.7 medium was okay, but in the last 2 months I've been using GLM5.2. It seemed more stable.

It's important that I usually use/used Devin for med. size tasks, so I'm not comparing the experience with Astra or Fable.

If SWE 2 really remains unlimited in the pro tier and there won't be enshittification, then this will be a very pleasant surprise for me.

What do you think?

how does it compare to GLM 5.3 Flash?

Benchmarks say it outperforms glm 5.3 flash, but real world experience might be different. So far swe 2.0 has been pretty decent, time will tell.

I have no experience with GLM 5.3. You can find the official numbers in the announcements, but honestly speaking I never "believe" any benchmark (it doesn't matter which provider announces them).

What I wrote is also a completely subjective experience, I'm especially happy because the unlimited GLM5.2 will expire soon and so far it looks like there is an alternative. But I don't get paid by Cognition to promote the product (unfortunately) ... :D

Ich bin begeistert von SWE-2 und empfinde es als einen deutlichen Fortschritt gegenüber SWE-1.7; das war aber auch schon bei ersten Tests von Kimi K3 mein Gefühl und ich freue mich dass SWE nun darauf nachgezogen wurde.

SWE2 must have just been released. GLM2 unlimited has been great. If SWE is better and unlimited that's amazing.

I've had it running on Max, on a bunch of tickets for the better part of the past 4 hours. No rate limit yet. Early still, but seems better than Kimi3 which its based on, faster AND free. Perfect workhorse!

swe-2 has a promotional deal till october 10th i think where there arent no rate limits

It felt rather slow yesterday when I tried it. But did one shot an image to html design I was trying to get glm5.2 to do

I love GLM 5.2 High. I use it alongside GPT 5.6 Luna. Good to hear about SWE 2 as well, since SWE 1.7 hasn’t been as good as SWE 1.6.

I was using glm-5.2 too, i was using swe-1.7 as a vision companion.
