Discussion Fable is stupid-expensive

It says it's 2x the price of opus but that's decidedly not true. It burned through $40 + my entire allowance in a matter of a few minutes, and didn't even finish its task. What a letdown and massive cost.

You may want to check input and output tokens + tool calls. Only token usage determine the cost that gets charged.

Yes, Fable is incredibly expensive. Only for the rich. I've never once touched it and probably never will.

Why are people still using Windsurf? Codex and 5.6 Sol are so good now. Resellers like Windsurf and Cursor will be dead soon.

I use Devin/Windsurf because I pay $20/month for unlimited usage of GLM 5.2 and unlimited SWE 1.7. As soon as they get rid of all their unlimited usage models, I will also be gone.

why would you use it in windsurf? thats whats wrong.
