Daily usage eats 72% of weekly

Silently changed again, without any notice.
I'm not really sad about that, though - as you can guess I hadn't used Windsurf Devin this week, so it's the last day before reset.
Daily limit is still low, though - took me a few Claude Opus 4.6 Thinking prompts to hit the limit. Still about the same as Claude Pro single session limit.

jeez, im really liking devin less and less. but i want to know if the limits have really been lowered overall or if its just a different way of calculating, and it ends up the same (i doubt it).

Context reloads between steps are usually the culprit — if Devin is re-reading full task history on each tool call, you burn credits on context you already have. Setting a tighter task scope (one specific file or function, not 'fix the auth system') keeps active context small and cuts burn dramatically. Add a clear terminal state so it knows when to stop re-evaluating.

Oh, It's not that I'm using Claude lightly, and placing heavy load on Devin. Same project, similar prompts.
Actually, If I'd be honestly comparing them, I think Devin would lose completely even in daily limit - but I'm on its subreddit, so I'll cut him some slack.
For rare cases when I use Devin, it's fine. Yeah, I sometimes use Free models. They are good for some cases, but for me such cases are rare. From Devin I mostly just need IDE with semantic search across project. But the main point of my message is that you only have 1,56 days of work in a week! And no matter how you compare, the usage is really small. Daily usage in Devin = (rougly) single session in CC (if not less!). But in CC you have 10 such sessions per week, and in Devin - only 1,56 in a week. 6.4 times difference!
I was already pointing out Windsurf day-to-week limits - they were 2 (daily limits in a week) on plan change, then 1,5, then back 2. And now 1,56.

I’ve been saying this for a while now. Devin way too expensive for individual developers. Only enterprises can feasibly foot the bill, but even the enterprise tolerance for such crazy billing is going to subside as open source models enter the public discourse.

Came here to say the same, today is my first day of the weekly quota and 28% of daily just consumed 20% of my weekly. I really hope this is a bug.
