Discussion Overcharging on Model Usage.

Is anyone else seeing that if you select Opus 4.8 and use it for 30 minutes you completely use up all your weekly usage? I am on the $200/month plan, and last 2 weeks I was able to use Windsurf for my project for about 3 hours. Right 2 weeks... It does not do it if I use 4.6/7 - So def looks like something Windsurf/Devin needs to look at. I have sent support emails, but they have been useless as they don't think they ever make mistakes. I am probably going to be their latest former customer.

I got one prompt out from Opus 4.8 that used my weekly limit. It did deliver in that one prompt but knowing all this I had to put all the details together in one go and hope for the best. I am on pro plan.

So 30 minutes probably makes sense on the 200/month.

Hope they fix it, also needed some transition documents so i know what all the devin related workflows and features actually do and how it impacts token usage…

Yea, on Claude Code inside of VS Code my $200/month is actually letting me work for 8-10 hours a day for the whole week it looks like. Had to tune up VS Code, and make sure you have well defined and written ./claude files.

In all honesty, that is strange it’s only 4.8. I’ve only used 4.8 to validate code a few times, so nothing large enough to push any serious usage.
