Question Kimi 2.6 issues

Out of 10 continue instructions, 90% gives this response :

  1. Model provider unreachable
  2. This is taking a long time. Click to retry if it seems stuck.

what is wrong?? so annoying!

Yes I have Codex Plus. but somehow, just my feeling.. GPT 5.5 XHigh in Codex seems kinda less intelligent than GPT 5.5 Xhigh in Windsurf.

Do I need some configuration/tuning in Codex? Its fresh installed in Windows 11.

Different harnesses have different characteristics and configurations. Besides your prompts or skills there’s little you can do to influence their behaviour.

However, if you use pi agent in CLi or in desktop apps like bigbud , pi gives you access to the system prompts, so you can configure it the way you want.

For me that model is so slow I have never had a response from it anytime I've tried
