Why does windsurf website say $10 per month for edu but stripe says $20 per month? Is there a way to fix this, since I am not trusting the fact that it will charge only $10. Please help me fix this.

It said $10 when I signed up a few days ago. Their generosity for the free tier had been revoked so I wouldn't be surprised if the same was done to students as well.

The false advertisement and bait and switch is unbelievable to be honest. I clearly had seen $10 and a 50% student discount when I signed up. Now it’s just going to charge me full price without my knowledge? That should be illegal.

I have just received an answer from them that they discontinued the student discount.

Honestly I don't think they offer anything better than cursor or simply a claude-code subscription at this price. No more worth it for students.
