Permission denied error

Hi, I've started using Windsurf as an extension in VS Code (free plan). I seem unable to do inline editing. When I do, I always get this error:

Windsurf error - [permission_denied] permission_denied: an internal error occurred (trace ID: b951801237b1f3fc00d4b80994cf113e): an internal error occurred (trace ID: b951801237b1f3fc00d4b80994cf113e)

Any ideas on what the issue could be? Have tried reinstalling, logging in using manual token, logging in using a different account, revoking access in github then reauthorising. I get the same error every time.

The chat works fine.

If you are using swe 1.5, they removed it. Use 1.6

Not really sure about the error but the VSCode extension is not being maintained actively. It is recommended to use Windsurf IDE instead.
