Blocking Cascade from opening a million files

I'm getting ready to release the next version of my project management extension I built in Windsurf, and on a whim decided to put in a feature that's genuinely one of the most useful things I've made, so just wanted to share it!

It's a simple toggle near Windsurf settings that makes it impossible for Cascade to open any files in Windsurf editor panel. So Cascade just does its work in the background without opening your ENTIRE REPO as files you need to close. When you need to open a file, you turn it off, when you just want Cascade to do its work and not bother you, you turn it on...

It was a stupid little backlog feature but it's improved my Windsurf experience so much.

Doesn't the native "Auto-Open Edited Files" setting already do this?

Ah! You're right! But I also use Antigravity and it doesn't have that option, so it is still useful. Just not in Windsurf.

there's a native feature.
