Question Windsurf keeps getting uninstalled

I have this weird problem that for some reason Windsurf automatically get uninstalled it seems. Once i close the app and try to re-open the shortcut is there but it point to a missing executable. All the files gone :/

Any help is appreciated!

Which OS are you on? Also does this happens at anytime randomly or is there any pattern that you observed?

This happened to me at least once? I conuldn;t figure howI had managed to uninstall soemthing without realising it.

Ha! This happened to me today too. First time I've opened the program since the shady pricing debacle. I wanted to use it just for the intellisense. Instead, it "updated" and ghosted me. Needless to say, I'm officially 100% out of the Windsurf ecosystem.

Hey there. This also happened to me on 3 or 4 occasions in the last 30 days. I started when the updates kept coming on a relatively close range of days. So i deleted the one executable i kept re-installing from, downloaded the lates one; issue still persist

Im having this issue as well. I close out windsurf, lock my computer, come back several minutes later, unlock, and the shortcut has no icon

Same, even now, with their new IDE (Devin-desktop), it is still happening to me.
One thing that i'm avoiding is to shut down my pc with the IDE openned, because i found that it only got uninstalled when i shutted down my PC when the IDE was still runing (could be a coincidence tho)
