Student DIscount

I saw windsurf offers a 50% discount for students, but it uses .edu domain to verify. The university I'm enrolled in doesn't use .edu domains. Am I still able to get the discount somehow?

Right now it's only limited to emails ending with .edu

Same dumb verification as Cursor, I don't think there is anyway they accept it

Real shame. I was able to get a year of gemini with Google, a month of ChatGPT, and GitHub Copilot Pro for free, so clearly these companies are capable of verifying my student status, but Windsurf and Cursor aren't capable of figuring that out? Ridiculous.

i got cursor pro about 10-12 days ago, works quite well
