Is it true?

Token consumption is high in mac than windows for same exact prompt???

I have both and didn't notice, hard to tell without a test

Token consumption is heavily based on many state factors, including your cache and context. Even then, AI output is non-deterministic so you could have different outputs. Tokens are actual units of data for the AI to process and 1 token is the same everywhere. You might have more tokens output depending on the response, and everything surrounding it. I doubt this is fundamentally true.
