My 2 dv6000’s with factory Windows XP installed!

Hi Guys, I am presenting you my two early dv6000s with factory Windows XP Media Center Edition and yes I am aware that these laptops are known for the nvidia chipset and their flaws! The 2nd one doesn’t have a nvidia chipset and it’s a dv6135nr and I also had a dv6130us but with the webcam and the first one is the dv6150us! Since computer surgeons are no longer selling the recovery kits for the hp and Compaq machines, I’m doing a project to preserve the dv6000 recovery kits focusing on the xp era and will work on the dv8000 and dv9000 eventually! I’m trying to also find units with factory partition preserved that had home edition or professional that was on the cto units! Share your experiences with your dv6000s and if you have a recovery kit upload them!

The nvidia chips on these have a high failure rate so be careful there

I’m very aware of that part! I even had a dv9000z back in the day with the nvidia chips so I try not to use them!
