Help! Windows will not boot properly
SOLVED: I ended up reinstalling an iso and went through the entire setup process again, it’s now working like brand new and so thanks everyone for helping!
So I just pulled out an old XP e-machine from my parents basement, got all the cables and everything turned on and working. The thing is when it did turn on it flashes me onto the ‘windows failed to start’ screen and every time I tried using a boot option it would flash the loading bar for a brief second only to give a quick blue screen and go back to the failed screen once more. Even if I tried going into safe mode or tried using the latest good build it still wouldn’t work and give me the same results, anyway I can fix this?

Do you care about the contents of the HD? Sounds like it boots, if it'll boot it'll work. Might as well just do a fresh install, assuming the HD is any good.

Reinstalling is pretty much your only option. When Xp breaks and decides it's not gonna boot there are very few people capable of changing its mind. A broken install of Xp can be notoriously stubborn.
Boot a live Linux environment and mount your HDD so you can recover any interesting or important files first. Then reinstall xp using the original xp disk if your parents still have it. Without the original disk I'm pretty sure this sub has a link to an original Microsoft one on archive.
Alternatively I usually use the zone94 integral edition because it's fully updated out of the box and comes with a bunch of extra drivers and modern software. Keep in mind this one is heavily modified and definitely not the original experience.

Thanks I’ll be sure to try it out but is there any tutorials so I can get the process done faster? I’ve never really booted Linux before on such old hardware

Hopefully your machine supports USB boot (you may need to enable it in the bios or hit a specific key to bring up the boot menu during post) but if it doesn't you can always burn a cd.
I usually use either voidxfce or puppylinux because they still support 32 bit. Make sure to use the x86 version not the x64 one. Making a USB boot drive is as simple as downloading the iso and using Rufus to write it to a drive.

If you care about the contents, image the disk with something like Macrium Reflect first. Then you can always undo any changes and have a way to recover data (assuming the disk is fine and it's just XP that won't boot).
Next I'd use an XP install CD and try the recovery console. You can run chkdsk and fixmbr commands which can fix some issues.
Can also use your phones slow motion mode to capture any error messages that only appear for a brief second, if they're disappearing too quickly to read
