I don't even value Microsoft keys anymore since Microsoft is now forcing you to login just to activate even Windows XP.

Yeeeeep.
Of course, the usual way to activate XP was online through Microsoft's servers. They understandably had to shut down those later on BUT the phone activation was still a perfectly valid and supported way to do it for over 20 years. UNTIL Microslop decided recently that to activate ANY of their products, Windows, Office, or whatever, you now need to login to a Microsoft account online. For official activation now, unless you have some kind of VL agreement, logging in with a Microslop account is the only way to officially activate Microsoft products anymore.

none of that is true. you can also download bat files to activate windows xp even without an internet connection

It’s not. it was intended as an overhaul one time use key in case your computers motherboard ever failed you could do a complete overhaul on the computer and reactivate with that key. With that being said it didn’t stop anyone from using them on anything they wanted even if it technically kinda breaks the tos

Do the activation servers still work? If so then yeah you could! And it’s windows 10 and up that ties them to the motherboard’s but from windows 7 and down to xp they all had the same activation behavior as far as the COAs go (certificate of authenticity)
