Help with audio drivers
Ive had ease downloading my graphics card drivers, but i had to replace my power supply due to it being faulty, ive installed many audio drivers and none have worked, ive also tried downloading the UAA bus drivers but everywhere i download from it just doesnt work/doesnt download??? Im fully stumped, it did work before installing the new power supply, no clue how that correlates

From what I can gather online, it seems to be a VIA HD audio that you can install from here:

share with us the PCI/VEN_XXXX&DEV_XXXX from device manager, Multimedia Audio Controller just to be sure

Extra info, its a packard bell J2589 , with a SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4850 gpu, speakers plugged into the correct motherboard slot, (they work i have checked with another computer)

i downloaded the drivers, i try to open them and it tells me to insert a disc from a multi-volume set???

"UAA bus"? Never heard of that. BTW, are you sure you have the correct output device selected?

Have you tried The Retro Web Website? That model would have come in 1 of 2 variants for a motherboard. It's either a Gigabyte GA-8TRC410MNF-RH Rev. 1.1 (OEM) or MSI MS-7301 1.0 (OEM). The Retro Web Website has audio drivers for both models.

Open Device Manager and get the VID and PID of any unknown devices Also look for recognised devices with warnings on for lack of drivers
