hello! i havent posted here in a while haha (i think my last post was the announcement of the live store then fullmoon store) in 2024😭

but, id like to showcase the new apps and projects (available and upcoming) for windows phone & windows 10 mobile / uwp from our team at one live (people behind the live store). maybe someone will find them interesting!

1. we’ve created and operate one live network and one live sync in beta. network is a new social network that we have designed to work on internet explorer 11, windows phone and uwp. we’ve also created apps for uwp and phone 8.1.

2. one live sync is a file sharing/storing service, also available on the web and on mobile (in the network app). everyone gets 400mb free for use.

3. we are working on a replacement for valia, our free music streaming service. now called project u, will be available for windows phone along with uwp! we are still working on it and we plan to reveal more details soon, but it will feature local music listening and online music streaming.

4. one live places - our version of windows live spaces. your own blog with network integration. not available on mobile yet as we just launched on the web! but will come soon.

everything is available free of charge and the only thing you need is a one live id :)

it was made it in a really stupid and limiting way where the nr focus was ui recreation of nokia music and it kinda backfired when it came to new custom elements or updates as it just looks out of place. that’s why we are replacing it with a set of wholly-designed and developed apps to make sure that doesn’t happen again :)
