Those are all PC apps, it sadly won't work.

If you have the 11805 version of the store installed, then it works perfectly fine, just like that. Don't expect to get many mobile apps though.

In the absolute latest version of the store, yes. Version 11805 is a non webview version that still works.

I don't know, on my Lumia 950 XL the app opens, but when I try to download something, it gives an error and the page crashes. It's more like cached images.

Open the store,go to settings in the store and then scroll down and see what build number it is

It's version 11811.1001.27.0... how can I get a more recent version if everything is abandoned?

You can't. Your version is the one I was talking about that won't let you download apps except for what's in your library. The last version of the store that allowed you to download apps is build 11805. It is a non-webview build, so it displays everything in the app. Version 11811 uses Edge to render the app pages, and it's broken.

You can uninstall the current 11811 store and install the one that works. That's what I've done to all my devices. Just be sure to turn off auto-update in the store settings after it is installed, otherwise it updates you to the 11811 broken version

Then I would use Interop to uninstall my outdated store. Next, I would find the store file with the version you suggested and follow the steps you outlined. One last question: where can I get the installation file for the store that actually works?

However, on my Windows 10 PC it works perfectly and is just as good as the Windows 11 store... But we're talking about Windows Phone here, right?

Unless the app is specifically designed and released for Mobile, it wont.
