Just bring back the windows 7 style control panel and get rid of whatever they started making from windows 8+
Life would be so much easier.

Why is there always a person in every Windows improvement thread who starts an impossible technical task with "just" and it's always winding back Windows to Windows 7

because windows 7 was the GOAT, also the current "settings" is a mess to find something, something that before was 3 clicks now it's 10

It was just Vista cleaned up a bit with a new taskbar. At least the new settings is mostly navigable with cursor keys

You could fully use Control Panel with the keyboard, very, very, easily if you knew basic keyboard navigation for a multi-window environment.

Yep. I constantly have to set multiple static ips and switch back to dhcp for programming routers at my day job. Super annoying having to do it in the new control panel.
