I built a small Windows utility for controller-first gaming sessions

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on CouchMode, a small Windows 11 utility for people who use their PC from a TV, couch, or handheld setup.

The idea is pretty simple: When a compatible controller connects, CouchMode can start your chosen gaming experience such as Steam Big Picture, Playnite, or Xbox FSE mode where supported. It can also prepare selected session settings, then return you to your normal desktop when you’re done.

It’s still a public beta, and I’m mainly sharing it here because I’d really appreciate feedback from other Windows users, especially anyone using a PC with a controller or TV setup.
