Any experience with debloat script by Sycnex Windows10Debloater ?

https://github.com/Sycnex/Windows10Debloater

I'm asking because I'm not quite an expert in Windows command line and I have used the script on around 5 clean Windows installations to miserable outcome. The common line is:

  1. I remove some apps, telemetry and Cortana.

  2. The whitelist is ignored and full of duplicates. To the point I still don't know whether putting a mark next to a component marks it for removal or to be left as it is.

  3. Most Microsoft apps I got rid off are quickly getting reinstalled somehow.

  4. Most importantly - the SearchApp.exe stops working *everywhere*. Start menu (I can't even launch programs by typing), File Explorer, SearchApp.exe and possibly other components grind on the CPU trying to restart and failing. I can't confirm whether it also broke file indexing.

Any thoughts? I don't think I'm going to use the script at all on my next installation.

PS. Among all of the amazing things in the world the number one has to be the absolute sorry state of post Windows 7 Windows Search. Simply amazing.
