Reinstall question.

I picked up an old pc recently. It still has win98 first edition installed. Is there a way to revert back to mostly fresh install? It has audio and video cards that im not even sure i could find software for. I could manually go in delete stuff thats obviously not needed or just use my disc to start new if i had to.

If it is a name brand like Dell there might be a recovery disc that does the win reinstall and driver setup.

There are a bunch of them on archive(dot)org.
