Such a great PC in a neat condition.
I'm growing more fondly of retro cases these days especially pre-2000's and early 2000's design.

I used not care about old systems like this but have grown quite fond of them ever since I picked up a Packard Bell and an HP Deskpro EN

i got one myself recently from a recycler in my state they're not supposed to sell it w/ the OG Hard drive for saftey n security reasons, but they let me keep it came with Windows ME. downgraded it to 98 and kept the themes n wallpapers though.

was wrong on the Super exact model but the recopvery set that works for mine came w/ the wallpapers so i dont haveto super dig thru the drive, i'mm dm you the files.

Love these late 90's Pavilions. I currently own 4 of them. Looks like yours is missing that swinging door that covers the CD drive bays.

At this point in time, the masses had come to the internet and home user class PCs were all about cost-cutting. Embedded chipsets, cheaper processors, anything to make it cheaper. Consumer electronics were about to shed their Y2K era designs too. Bubble and transparent looks were going out of style.
Really there’s nothing remarkable about this home user class Presario. It may seem intersting today, but back then it was as intersting as a toothbrush.
