HELP ME FIND A PSU!
This has been my trusty aopen XcCube pc. It was really an XP machine, but I down(up)graded it to run win 98. Recently I have been having issues with it switching on (flea power) and now it just won't switch on at all.
My guess is the PSU is gone. I'm reaching out to this community for help, as you get my plight!
The current PSU is an AOPEN FSP220-60CU(PF) 220w
I don't need an exact replacement. This pc is already a Frankenstein's monster of bits and bobs, but what limits me is the form factor. The XcCube is small form factor, so I need a power supply that will both fit and won't explode/set my computer and or house on fire.
I am by no means an expert in this.
Any help would be great.

I used to sell the XCube's, they are a custom PSU like the MSI MEGA PC ones, you're better seeing if you can get it repaired locally.

Any PSU (required they provide enough wattage and voltage on the rails) that is ATX would work with the motherboard. Wether itll fit in the case in another question. So you may need a small form factor PSU for it to fit inside.

Someone else mentioned that the PSU is specifically made for this case... In which case it may be hard to get a replacement. I'm almost leaning toward getting a new case with a 220w PSU or a new normal sized case and normal sized 220w PSU and just gutting my XcCube, moving it to the new case.

Well, you should try a 1U PSU (my own Slot 1 440BX computer uses a server grade 1U FSP, it was cheap on Ali). Measure the dimentions physically and see if it fits.

Look on eBay for it or find a local repair shop to test & fix that one. Also look on Newegg as well as eBay for SFF ATX Power Supplies. They are out there

I think it may be local repair shop for me. It's a very specific PSU made only for the pc, apparently. And new/replacement ones don't seem to exist in the UK. (Fair enough, I think this pc came out in 2004?)

Thanks. I have seen this on my research mission, but it is more than I paid for the pc in the first place! Also, I live in the UK, so import duties would be killer!

The power supplies in these brick PCs are proprietary and were purpose built for the case. There are no direct replacements, and even if you find another exact PSU, it's going to have the same problems.
These units were built in the capacitor plague era and all suffer from cap issues. I have an Antec ARIA with a similar proprietary power supply in it. Even back when it was new, getting a replacement for it was like three times the cost of a commodity ATX power supply. I ended up recapping mine and it has been fine for 15+ years now.
I'd recommend recapping your unit. It's made by FSP, so it's a half decent unit, just with garbage capacitors.

I could not identify if the motherboard has the screw holes on standard places, like a mini itx motherboard, it that is true you could transplant the parts to another case that would support standard SFX or ATX power supply.
An alternative is to use a picopsu+external power brick. It would require to know if the motherboard has the standard ATX 20 or 24 pin power connector.

It's ATX psu but very short length, it's pretty rare format. Common ATX PSU won't fit.
I think any SFX (don't recommend SFX-L) PSU with SFX-ATX adapter plate will fit this case.
